Project Details
The village of Blakeney is located on the North Norfolk coast. It is an area designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The marshes and open spaces around the village make it a haven for migratory birds and wild life. It also has an old timber quay, much photographed and painted by artists and an important part of the waterfront scene. The quay is a genuine antique but it is collapsing and in need of urgent repair, so It's Your Community has stepped in to help rescue this local treasure.
