Project Details
The Bijoy Youth Group was totally fedup with the amount of graffiti covering their Tower Hamlets estate. At the same time they understood the frustration that young people can have when they lack an adequate outlet for their energy. So they organised an initiative in which twenty young volunteers helped to clean up some of the worst affected flats and It's Your Community helped by enabling them to buy solvents and a jet powered water hose for the job. Now they have the satisfaction of feeling that they are part of the solution rather than part of the problem.
