Some 300 tenants will benefit from The New Orleans Community Project where neglected pockets of unused space will be turned into small gardens and seating areas which the tenants themselves will maintain. The New Orleans estate is large with many concrete spaces and very little communal garden so It's Your Community was glad to help, as initiatives of this sort can inspire similar projects in other neighbourhoods.
