The current 3E’s Table Tennis Club is an Edmonton youth club formed in 2005 which runs after school table tennis coaching for young people aged 6 to 18. Although they only meet twice a week the club has already achieved great success winning the 2007 National Junior League for. To reflect the team spirit of this achievement the young people would like to wear a team tracksuit but this is outside the budget of either the club or most of the young peoples' families. The club team also want to invite local schools to participate in training and information sessions as a promotional exercise to encourage more players into the club. As a positive focus for engaging young people’s energies this small club had already achieved a huge amount on a limited budget, demonstrating the pro-active spirit that It’s Your Community wants to support. The young champions will now be able to compete in a team tracksuit.
